If you are following me on Instagram, you know that I was in Banff this past week. It was hands down the most beautiful place I have ever been. We hiked around Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff and each thing we saw was just amazing as the next. I’m working on a more in-depth post about my trip that I’ll put up in the next week or so.
Today I’m sharing a look that I wore for a day full of hiking. I knew the plan was to hike every day during the trip so I stocked up on new workout clothes before I left. Pretty much everything I’m wearing can be found at Nordstrom Rack and my top and leggings combined are under $50!
I’m obsessed with these striped leggings by Zella. While shopping for this trip I discovered that Nordstrom Rack has a lower priced brand of Zella workout wear, “Z by Zella“. I’m so excited about this because Zella is my favorite brand for workout clothing. Although I love my Lulu, Zella is the same exact quality but at a lower price point and Z by Zella is even cheaper. I also think that Zella has much cuter styles.
I found my t-shirt in the women’s clothing section but I bought it a few sizes up for a looser more comfortable fit. My strategy for packing for this trip was to find some basic tops that I could dress up at night and then wear hiking the next day. This top was so perfect for that so I ended up buying it in pink as well! You’ll see the pink version styled for a night time look in a post later this week.
The only thing I didn’t find at Nordstrom Rack are my sunglasses. These are from Urban Outfitters. I was looking for a cheap pair that I could bring on this trip and not worry about breaking them. I also wanted something a little sportier than my usual rose-gold lenses. I didn’t expect to love these so much and I received tons of compliments on them. They’re the prefect size for a women’s aviator and the all black makes them great for a more casual look.
I’ve linked everything from this look within my post and below as well!
