Five Fun Ways to Celebrate Galentine’s Day

PJ Pants | PJ Top

My girlfriends and I are celebrating Galantine’s Day next Tuesday and I CAN’T wait. I’ve been brainstorming a bunch of different ways to celebrate aside from the usual girls night filled with rom coms, reality TV and ton of delicious snacks, treats and wine. I thought I’d share a few of the fun ideas I came up with, with you all!

Cookie Decorating

I think I spent at least an hour and a half looking at all the ADORABLE valentines Day cookie decorating ideas on Pinterest the other night. I LOVE to bake and although I’m not the most talented at decorating baked goods I always have so much fun doing it. Here are a few of the cute ideas I’m dying to try to replicate

Conversation Heart Cookies

Lingerie Heart Cookies

Painted Heart Cookies

Chocolate and Wine Pairing Contest

Put a fun twist on a traditional at home wine tasting party by adding a chocolate pairing into the mix. Each person brings a wine and chocolate pairing and different awards are given out for the best pairing, best wine and best chocolate!

Here’s a great resource to get ya started.

Homemade Heart Shaped Pizzas

While on my search for cookie decorating ideas I came across this recipe for heart shaped pizzas. Making pizzas from scratch is one of my favorite things to do. I think this would be the perfect way to kick off a night filled with tons of fun rom-coms and red wine.

Secret Cupid Exchange

My friends and I never ended up doing a secret santa exchange so I thought it would be fun to do a secret cupid exchange instead. Here are a few cute Galantine’s gift ideas:

Pretty Pink Statement Earrings

Camel and Pink Cape Scarf

Spa Night

Who doesn’t love (and need) a spa night? Rose face masks, like this one, are so good for your skin and are super festive for Valentine’s Day. I also love giving myself at home manicures and pedicures using this kit and fun and festive Essie nail polish colors. A few of my go to red and pinks are Mod Square and Geranium
